With our first raid on Hard Mode coming up on the 22nd January, I wanted to take some time to explain how we'll be handling DKP for our first run.

Firstly we WILL be using minus DKP, but we will not be using the silent bid system. For our first raid a system of need before greed will be utilised. When an item drops the following will happen:

1) Those that need the item will be asked to link their current item to the Master Looter (Lythria) via PM.
2) Lythria will check over the stats on each persons gear. The person who will benefit the most from the item will be awarded that item. That person will suffer a -10 DKP item cost.
3) If no one needs the item, it will move to a greed roll. The greed roll will follow our standard rules (see DKP rules for more information).

After the first raid we will no longer utilise minus DKP as members should then be in positive DKP. For those members who do win items and end up with negative DKP, you will be required to return to positive DKP before you will be allowed to bid on additional items in the future (excluding greed rolls).
